About the Center

The Minnesota Center for Engineering & Manufacturing Excellence builds partnerships between higher education, business and industry to stimulate economic development through education, training, and applied research.

By providing research experts, student interns, work force education, and meeting long-range recruitment needs, Center institutions offer industry a
vast network of resources critical to
manufacturing and engineering success.

Acknowledge state leaders in engineering and manufacturing, the Center is made up of
lead university Minnesota State University - Mankato, with Alexandria Technical College, Anoka Technical College, Hennepin Technical College, Normandale Community College, South Central College, and the Northeast Higher Education District, all members of the
Minnesota State Colleges & Universities System.
